About Blu Style! -
Blu Style was
launched in January 06 as a successor to my old portfolio, silver-tear.net.
The name derives from my nickname, Blu (short for "Blumchen")History -
Before Blu Style, I ran
a small web design group called "Blumchen Designs" which made up of
myself and about four other female webdesigners. We provided free linkware
graphics including, but not limited to layouts, banners, icons, wallpapers,
image maps, and coding. This was a great way for all of us to practice, and
waas a lot of fun. To this day, I still provide free linkware graphics to help
me practice my work and hone my skills. Aside from all the freebies I give out,
I've also done quite a bit of freelance work, including the old website for
Flying High Ministries and the vote page for Victoria High School.

of the Trade -
I
use primarily Microsoft Notepad for all
my coding, and I use Namo's Web Editor for
all of my tables and image maps. For graphics,
I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Image Ready
CS2. I aquired Photoshop three years ago
and am almost completely self taught. Most
of what I know about graphic animations
(for my icons) was taught to me by Enola,
and then I figured out more tricks for myself.
