Woodworks
These are more projects that I did for school.
Project #1 - Wooden Box.
This box was made during Capp just over ten years ago. It has a rounded top, shaped much like a treasure box, with hinges and a clasp. It is made from Cherry wood and Yew wood, and took about a month (in class time, 2 hours a week at 4 weeks) to complete. It currently has some writing and decorations on it, but I've made plans to have it cleaned up.
Project #2 - Heart Shaped Box
[pictures forthcoming]
This was a project I made a few years later, at another school. It is a much smaller box, which my mother now uses to hold some of her jewelry. It fits snuggly in the palm of the hand. It has a removable top (no metal parts).
Project #3 - Pencil Holder.
[no pictures available]
We've all made these in school. Mine broke years ago, but I had made a pencil holder with the shape of my name. It wasn't very effective as a pencil holder, but those things never are.
