Sherra Grauschellar (alternate spellings of Grausherra, Graushella, Gurasuchiera, so on and so forth) is a character from the series "Slayers". She appears in two Slayers novels (9 and 12) up until her death at the hands of main heroine Lina Inverse. Sherra is the second general and right hand of the Frozen ice king Dynast Grauschellar. Weilding her demon blade Dulgofa, She is a skilled swordsman and fighter, and a powerful adversary. Her blade is actually a lesser demon itself, and can not only project and deflect magical attacks, but can turn humans into Mazoku.
Her Personality
I know very little about her personality, since the novels she's appeared in have not been translated by Tokyopop (grr....) but this is what I did find.
"[Sherra] is extremely dedicated to duty and has a reputation for being honorable. Underneath a serious and sometimes uptight exterior, she is at heart a warm and caring person. She has an idealistic, charismatic spirit that others find inspiring. Sherra is Dynast's most trusted servant. No dark lord could ask for a more loyal minion. She seeks to fulfill her role as general as best she can. She wants Dynast to be proud of her, and is afraid of disappointing him. She has no memories of her life previous to becoming a general. Sherra is an expert swordsperson and has no talent for magic. In fact, she is more immune to it than most other Mazoku" [source]
Affiliations with others
Affiliated characters include Norst; Dynast's other general, who is determined to prove himself the better servant to Dynast. Also are Grau and Grou; Dynasts priests, and Surdian, Faliearl, Gbarg, Lebifere, and Mianzo, who are possibly past servants and henchmen? I'm not entirely sure.
Sherra's Appearance and possible inspiration
Her appearance is supposedly based on that of girl type Ranma, as evidenced by Rui Araizumi drawing a h-doujinshi for the series Ranma 1/2 entitled Ran Ran Ran F. If you say so? I believe the resemblance is purely coincidental. Chances are Rui's had parts in other doujins for other series, but this one seems to be the only one that's surfaced. I mean, it could very well be, but I highly doubt it was intentional. [source] I also have scans of the whole doujinshi, available upon request.
